March 07, 2025 – Music and motivation collide in an electrifying new album from Akira The Don and broadcasting legend Earl Nightingale… Following the 2024 smash hitThe Strangest Secret In The World, this new 8 track collection,THE MIRACLE OF YOUR MIND samples self-help pioneer Earl Nightingale’s trailblazing 1960’s series, Lead The Field, initially released through the Nightingale-Conant Corporation as a vinyl box set referred to as “The Executive Edition”, and later on cassette, helping millions of people decades before the advent of Youtube and Podcasts… After being granted access to some of the Earl Vaults by the Nightingale estate, Akira was insistently inspired to make this album…
“It’s an insane treasure trove,“ said Akira, speaking from his studio deep in the Mexican jungle. “Every syllable is golden, every uttered paragraph sounds like an anthem. Just 12 minutes of Earl Nightingale’s gorgeous gravelly baritone from a single episode ofLead The Field became these 8 instant-classic songs. I could happily be making Earl Nightingale albums for 100 years and never run out of inspiration.”
This genre-blending project fuses eternal wisdom with similarly timeless beats, delivering a lyrical manifesto on unlocking the infinite potential of the human mind, over a wealth of incredible production that Akira refers to as, “that Golden Sound…”
“Every voice I work with has a specific sound and soul, that requires a specific sound and soul in the music that accompanies it” says Akira. “That sound is very obvious to me, and could be no other way. Earl’s is that… thatgolden sound. Warm, sparkling, dusty, effervescent, soaring… Golden. Golden is the word. Leonard Cohen once said, “I was blessed with the gift of a golden voice,” and he certainly was, but his voice has nothing on Earl’s. And so the music has to reflect that. And it does. These are some of my favorite instrumentals to date.”
