JBPWAVE: GENESIS is the second album from Akira The Don and Jordan Peterson, and in some ways, their first greatest hits album. Across the album's 14 tracks, Akira revisited stand-out moments from the legendary first run of JBPWAVEmixes, transforming those mixtape sketches into full-blown songs. 

Drawing from decades of Peterson's public speeches, television and podcast appearances and writings, the album brings together messages of self-improvement and existential reflection, meditating on the notions of finding meaning in life through personal responsibility and understanding.

As ever, Akira produced all music on the record, and provided vocals. THis is perhaps the most raw and truly lofi of all the JBPWAVE albums - the vinyl version had to be remastered as it already sounded like it had been ripped from a decades old vinyl record.

Speaking of which, the crowd-funded vinyl pressing is a luxurious delight, on thick, marbled vinyl, with a double gatefold sleeve and beautiful full-colour lyric book.
