A collection that got its title from Akira’s description of the style he developed for Earl Nightingale. “It’s thatgolden sound. Warm, sparkling, dusty, effervescent, soaring… Golden. Golden is the word. Leonard Cohen once said, “I was blessed with the gift of a golden voice,” and he certainly was, but his voice has nothing on Earl’s. And so the music has to reflect that. And it does. These are some of my favorite instrumentals to date.”
