RING THE ALARM! NEW GOGGINS MEANINGWAVE DROPPED! NOT A DRILL! NEW! GOGGINS! MEANINGWAVE! DROPPED!

This is one of those fortuitous, spur-of-the-moment, had the phone rang or something it wouldn’t have existed type joints… 

As you know, I have Meaningwave projects planned out years in advance, but I always allow a little wiggle room for The Striking Of Inspiration. I was working on one of those scheduled albums not long ago and had set one of the tracks to render, taking the opportunity of a few moments of free time to answer some Instagram DMs. 

I never made it to the DMs. At the top of my feed was a David Goggins video, one of those ones where he’s running and delivering some righteous sermon or other. They’re always great. I unmuted the video, watched it, and instantly heard the whole song in my head, as it unfolded before me. With some subjects, finding the inherent melody and rhythm in the spoken word can sometimes take a little time, but with Goggins, it is always instant. He speaks only in pure uncut ready-to-roll BANGERS.

Incidentally, I just picked up my phone to get the link to that aforementioned video from Insta. And guess what was at the top of my feed? A new Gogins video. That there is what they call synchronicity. A sign that you are on the path. Walking with Allah, as Malcolm X put it.

Enjoy this fine new Meaningwave banger, dear reader. The music video drops Monday. Then hold tight for ANOTHER new single, from another Meaningave superstar, next week. You’re gonna love it, I just know.

OK, I gotta go find my son something to wear at my little brother’s wedding tomorrow. He’s been made a viscount, and will be engaged in some ceremonial aspect of the, um, ceremony… So I need to find him something suitably swaggy. Luckily, I am smack bang in the center of Copenhagen, where it seems one could close one’s eyes, spin around, fire a grenade launcher, and hit a swaggy clothing retailer of some sort.
